Depending on the existing outdoor air conditions (APD categories "Outdoor air" according to EN 16798-3 standard) and the requirements for the quality of the supply air (SUP categories "Supply air" according to EN 16798-3 standard), AIRWATEC advises the industry in the selection of appropriate air filters for an efficient separation of fine dust ePM1, ePM2.5 or ePM10.
Heavy industry, such as blast furnaces, steelworks, continuous flows, hot rolling mills belong to the ePM10 category where it is recommended to use air filters in the air supply system with an overall efficiency for PM10 of at least 80%.

Blast Furnaces
This production with blower rejects outside air particularly charged in fine dust (50%). Our filters present a very good mechanical resistance and an efficiency of 80% for the ePM10. -
Steelworks
This activity utilizes over-pressurized electrical substations exposed to the risk of infiltration into the structure. Dust can cause partial discharge and power distribution failures. The long durability of our filters allows for effective cleaning of fine dust over the long term. -
Continuous flows
AIRWATEC cleans the cooled gases in a boiler in a custom-made dedusting installation. -
Hot rolling mills

Cold rolling mills
Compressed air blowing reduces the impact of emulsion on cold rolling mills. Our filters are used to remove contaminants from the post-compression air and fine dust. This allows the many DC and AC motors, including the frequency converter substations, to operate without interruption. -
Compressed air blasting
Our filters are particularly suitable for retaining the ultra-fine and potentially harmful dusts caused by the projection of abrasive (silica grains, crushed granite) onto the metal surface by the compressed air jet. -
Surface treatment
During galvanising, tinning, grinding and shot blasting activities, AIRWABOX cassettes equipped with appropriate filters, sleeves or cartridges provide effective dust removal.
